Pensive Gargoyle

I’m a French teacher day and a French student by night, a meticulous neat freak with a messy closet (okay, and a messy car, too), a small-town girl who moved an ocean away, taught English, found a husband, and moved back to the big city. I’m a bookworm that sometimes gets tired of books, a foodie who doesn’t know how to cook, an oenophile who digs cheap wine (and the not-so-cheap crus as well), a world-traveler who’s afraid to fly, and a logophile who can’t spell. I love Paris in spite of the whole métro-boulot-dodo thing, adore the Biarritz beaches malgré the sun, and miss Dijon, even though I prefer German mustard. I’m always ready to try something different as long as I’ve done it before. I’m a practical daydreamer, a homebody who loves to venture out, a perfectionist who is learning to accept defaults, a cynic with hope. I’m satisfied with never being satisfied.
